Overview

 

Swat is also known as the Switzerland of Pakistan. It is one of the greenest valleys of the Northern Pakistan located in the Khyber Paktunkwa province .It is well connected to major cities of Pakistan .The swat valley is located in the foot hills of Hindukush.The main towns of swat valley are  Mingora and Saidu Sharif. The elevation of swat valley is between 975 m- 2,900 some of the major languages spoken here are Pashto and Kohistani.English and Urdu are also spoken by locals. People of swat have a long history of being hospitable and welcoming to tourist.

Swat Valley is celebrated throughout the world as the holy land of Buddhist learning, according to Buddhist tradition, Buddha himself came to swat during his last reincarnation as Gautama Buddha and preached here.Some of the major tourist attraction are Swat museum, Buddhist stupas, margazar, white Palace, Shrine of Akhund, lake Mahanadi and kundal lake .

The lush green valley of Swat, fruit laden orchards and rich historical is a top notch for holiday makers. From March till October, swat has the best season for tourism.

Day 01: Drive from Islamabad-Saidu Sharif

-En-route visit Takht bai.
-Frequent stops for Photos/Tea.
-Overnight stay at Saidu Sharif


Day 02: Explore Saidu Sharif

-Visit to Butkhara Stupa and Swat Museum.
-Continue to Murgazar,Mingora and islampur.
-Overnight stay in Saidu Sharif


Day 03: Excursion around swat valley

-Full day excursion to Malam jabba.
-Drive back to said sharif
-Overnight stay in saidu Sharif


Day 04: Drive from Saidu-Sharif to kalam

-En-route visit madhyan,Bahrain
-Transfer to hotel
-Overnight stay in kalam.


Day 05: Rest day/Explore in kalam

-Explore local market visit villages.
-Lesisure activities around kalam.
-Rest day
-Stay in kalam day 2.


Day 06: Day excursion to Ushu Valley and Mohodand lake.

-Explore the beautiful ushu Valley.
-Walk around the village interact with locals.
-Visit Mohandad lake
-Night stay in Kalam


Day 07: Drive from Kalam to Saidu Sharif

-Drive from kalam to Saidu Sharif
-Night stay in Saidu Sharif.


Day 08: Drive from Saidu-Sharif to Islamabad

-You will have an all day drive to Islamabad
-Stay in Islamabad


Day 08: Departure Flight-Fly home

Your guide will transfer you to Islamabad Airport on scheduled timing.

Climate Action SDG#13
(We plant a Tree for every booking)  

Pakistan is among the worst hit by climate change globally with temperature soaring and glaciers melting. Mass tourism has been a challenge during summer vacations. We at Nomadic Tours (Pakistan) contribute in our little capacities. We ensure we leave behind minimum carbon foot prints and leave behind a cleaner and greener environment for upcoming generations.


From 2021 we will be planting a tree for every booking you make with us.The native trees include non- fruit bearing (Willow,Poplar,Oak and Russian Olive).Fruit bearing Trees include (Apricot,walnut,Peach and Cherry).

Gender Equality SDG#5
Inclusion of women in Tourism work force .
From year 2021, In an effort to bring about a gender equilibrium and encourage women to be an equal part of tourism  work force, here at Nomadic Tours(Pakistan) women work as mountain guides  and perform administrative duties.


There is an entirely dedicated Tour (women’s only tour in Pakistan) to start with. We ensure equal pays for all genders.
